GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) that binds copper(II) with high affinity. Circulating levels drop sharply with age — from ~200 ng/mL at 20 to ~80 ng/mL by 60 — which correlates with declining regenerative capacity.
